"Hands-Off Driving"

Films: Crash! (1976)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good

Summary: Ladies and gents, the power of the possessed automobile. The Big Rig at least had a driver, but now we have someone who can take the wheel from the comfort of her own home.

History: Kim Denne was the wife of the wheelchair-bound cynic Marc, and unknown to her, his target for murder. Blaming her for the auto accident that left him a cripple, Marc sends his Doberman to finish her off during a car ride. She's heavily injured, but not defeated. For her keychain bears the idol of the Hittite God of vengeance, Akaza, which gives her the power to possess a convertible to destroy whatever she wishes, with Marc as top priority.

Notable Kills: At one point, her keychain possesses Marc's wheelchair. Yes, a homicidal wheelchair is in this movie, and it brutalizes the Doberman to death.

Final Fate: Marc and the convertible eventually have a showdown, which ends with him pinned to the ground and the car launching itself at him, blowing up and killing him. Kim is walked out of the room she was trapped in, and lives to see another day.

Powers/Abilities: The keychain can control anything on wheels.

Weakness: Anything conventional for Kim, anyway.

Scariness Factor: 4-Anyone who can make a life support mechanism deadly is best avoided. That said, Kim does have sympathetic reasons for her rampage. She just didn't have to kill everyone else doing it.

Trivia: -This film is also known as "Death Ride".

-There is no Hittite God known as Akaza. If we were to decide the closest Hittite deity for this, it would be Istustaya and Papaya, the twin Gods of fate and destiny.
